Kate Walker is a member of the firm’s Real Estate & Transactional and Business groups.
Kate graduated with honors from Temple Law School, where she served as a member of Temple Law Review and received the Law Faculty Scholarship, the Melvin Lashner Memorial Award for Excellence in Bankruptcy Law, Best Paper distinction for Secured Transactions, and Distinguished Class Performance designations for various courses. During law school, Kate interned at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, where she investigated complex disputes involving sophisticated lending institutions and large corporate debtors. She also volunteered at the Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia. Kate received her B.A. with distinction from the University of Delaware.
Prior to joining Kurtz & Revness, Kate was a Financial Analyst at an AmLaw 100 law firm, where she prepared financial, accounting, and profitability analysis for the firm’s management.
Kate is involved in various local organizations including the Young Lawyers Division of the Philadelphia Bar Association, Young Friends of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and Project HOME. She is proficient in Russian and enjoys painting.
